This two stage sharpener is a double edged sword (excuse the pun); It does not produce the same results as using a sharpening stone, but on the other hand it requires zero skill to use and give you a good edge in seconds. For a quick "top up" before or after use of your knives, it's fantastic. I use Henckels 5-star knives and I'm more than happy with the results considering the price. |

In use for a month now seems to work really well,Have used two stages for first sharpen of knife now just maintain sharp edge with a couple of strokes stage two. |
