Senf - Mustard In German. This particular Senf, known as 'SüÃer Senf', has a sweet, yet sharp taste that makes it great on sandwiches and crackers and originates from the southern parts of Germany (Bavaria).
Mix flour, sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper together, then add vinegar. Stir using a wire whisk to prevent lumps. Simmer on low to medium heat till cooked through and beginning to get thick. Add some water if too thick and if the mustard is too sharp for your taste.
It gets better as it cools and ages awhile.
